Job summary

Rafferty Insurance Agency Llc in Waterbury, CT seeks a warm, detail oriented Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative to join our team. You will listen to clients, handle policy changes, and provide clear explanations of coverage to keep our community well protected.

As a primary contact for policyholders, you will collaborate with carriers, ensure accurate renewals, and document interactions to support our collaborative, client-first culture.

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut Property and Casualty license.
• Minimum two years’ experience in an insurance agency.
• Proficiency with Applied Epic or similar AMS.
• Strong MS Office skills and ability to document clearly.
• Excellent organizational habits for multi-client work.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming client questions regarding existing policies with patience and clarity.
• Process routine policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately within our system.
• Act as a primary point of contact for our policyholders in Waterbury and beyond.
• Review client accounts to ensure they have adequate protection based on their evolving life stages.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve billing discrepancies or coverage status inquiries.
• Document all client interactions thoroughly to ensure every team member stays informed.
