Benchmark Insurance Agency in St. Augustine, FL is seeking a Licensed Customer Service Representative (4-40) for a full-time, on-site position.

You will handle policy servicing, renewals, inquiries, and agency operations while building long-term client relationships. The role blends administrative tasks with direct customer service and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active Florida 4-40 Customer Representative License.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to existing and prospective clients.
• Answer and route phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with insurance questions.
• Process policy changes and ensure accurate documentation.
• Follow up with carriers for endorsements and policy updates.
• Assist with underwriting, rewrites, re-quotes, reinstatements, and cancellations.
• Obtain underwriting information, signatures, applications, and documentation.
• Manage policy renewals and review billing accounts.
• Process customer payments and maintain client records in the agency system.
• Provide proof of insurance documents (binders, certificates, IDs, endorsements).
• Document interactions per agency procedures.
