Qualifications

• Valid state license as Independent Insurance Agent and related certifications.
• Experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing in insurance.
• Strong negotiation and clear communication abilities.
• Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are desirable.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and data privacy requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts to identify their insurance needs and present suitable options.
• Conduct retail sales consultations, explaining policy features clearly to facilitate informed decisions.
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
• Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications and updating client records in compliance with regulations.
• Analyze client risk profiles and recommend appropriate coverage plans.
