Job summary

PestCo is seeking a Licensed IDPH Technician to manage pest-control routes in Illinois. You will apply pesticides according to schedule and label instructions, discuss services with customers, and assist in sales while maintaining professionalism and safety.

This full-time role offers a $750 sign-on bonus after 90 days, base hourly pay plus commissions, and comprehensive benefits including medical, vision, 401(k), PTO, and ongoing training to expand licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed IDPH Technician preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and kneel/bend.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Pest control experience preferred but not required.
• Able to use an iPad for notes and paperwork.
• Able to present information to customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate pest control routes and apply pesticides per schedule and label instructions.
• Maintain timely arrivals; company vehicle provided.
• Discuss service scope with customers.
• Assist in sales and upsell maintenance plans.
• Use training to select efficient pest solutions.
• Provide customers with effective pest control and eradication services.
• Provide estimates for one-time treatments and ongoing maintenance.
• Complete all appointments per company policies and regulations.
• Maintain vehicle, PPE, and documentation.
