Job summary

American Homestays, LLC is seeking an HVAC Technician for a part-time role, performing inspections, repairs and maintenance across residential and commercial properties. You will respond to service calls, support seasonal upgrades and ensure energy efficiency and tenant comfort, with a focus on safety and code compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HVAC experience, Maryland Journeyman/Master license, EPA 608 certification, and a valid driver’s license; skilled in diagnoses and repairs

Qualifications

• Experience with ductless mini-split systems, smart thermostats and energy-efficient upgrades.
• Minimum 3 years of experience servicing residential and/or commercial HVAC systems.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and refrigerant handling.
• Valid Maryland HVAC license (Journeyman or Master) and EPA 608 certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers and ventilation units.
• Diagnose airflow, thermostats, refrigerant, mechanical and electrical issues and resolve them.
• Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventative maintenance to maximize system performance.
• Respond to emergency repair requests promptly and maintain service logs and documentation.
• Collaborate with property managers and other teams to ensure safety and compliance.
