Job summary

American Homestays, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for a part-time role across residential and commercial properties in Maryland. The position supports inspections, repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance to ensure energy efficiency and tenant comfort.

The schedule is 10 hours per day, four days a week, with 50% travel using a company vehicle. Requires Maryland HVAC license, EPA 608, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience servicing HVAC systems in residential/commercial settings.
• Experience with ductless mini-split systems and smart thermostats.
• EPA 608 certification and Maryland license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation units.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to airflow, thermostats, refrigerant, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Perform seasonal tune-ups and preventative maintenance to maximize system performance.
• Respond to service calls and coordinate with property managers and maintenance teams.
