Job summary

Handyman On Call in the United States is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, or repair heating and cooling systems in residences or commercial establishments. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure comfort and energy efficiency for customers.

We require past HVAC service technician experience and EPA certification, plus the ability to work independently while contributing as a team player.

Qualifications

• Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education.
• EPA certification.
• Team player who can work independently and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
