Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional geotechnical experience with increasing responsibility.
• MS or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (geotechnical emphasis) is a plus.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Louisiana, or ability to obtain licensure in 3 months.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work well in multiple teams.
• Familiar with standard geotechnical engineering software.
• Willingness to learn new concepts with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Familiar with deep foundation design, installation and quality control testing.
• Relocation support may be available for exceptional candidates who are a strong match for the role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project proposals and cost estimates.
• Assist with development and management of engineering projects.
• Coordinate and supervise field and engineering tasks with key stakeholders.
• Perform engineering analyses and prepare geotechnical reports.
• Maintain client expectations for project quality and schedule.
• Attend project and client meetings.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Train staff professionals.
• Assist other departments with geotechnical services.
• Provide interoffice project coordination.
