Job summary

Helio Health is seeking a Licensed Forensic ACT Criminal Justice Specialist (Licensed Counselor) for the Forensic ACT program. The role includes criminogenic screenings and assessments using RNR approaches to guide individualized services and ACT-guided plans.

The position offers $30.00-$36.00 per hour with a potential sign-on bonus up to $8,000, depending on licensure/credentials. This is a full-time role with comprehensive benefits under NYS law.

Qualifications

• Must possess a NYS licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC).
• Minimum of a Master's Degree required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a caseload and performs primary counselor responsibilities including screening, intake, orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, referral, treatment planning, counseling, crisis intervention, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping, consultation, diagnostic impression, family counseling.
• Provides services according to agency policies, procedures, program guidelines, and governmental regulations.
• Monitors provision of services.
• Evaluates programs and identifies strengths/weaknesses.
• Assists in problem resolution.
• Represents agency to the community.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
