Job summary

Helio Health, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Forensic ACT Criminal Justice Specialist (Licensed Counselor) in Syracuse, NY to lead criminogenic screenings and assessments within the Forensic ACT program, apply RNR principles, and develop person-centered service plans in line with ACT guidelines.

The role requires NYS licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LMHC) and a Master’s degree, and offers a competitive hourly rate with a sign-on incentive up to $8,000 for eligible licensure/credentials.

Qualifications

• Must possess NYS licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC).
• Minimum of a Master's Degree required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation and maintain required auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a caseload and performs counselor duties including screening, intake, assessment, planning, counseling, crisis intervention, and case management.
• Provides services according to agency policies, procedures, program guidelines, and governmental regulations.
• Monitors provision of services.
• Evaluates programs and identifies strengths/weaknesses.
• Assists in problem resolution and represents the agency to the community.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
