Job summary

Worldwide Jet Charter is seeking a Flight Dispatcher to plan, monitor, and support our flights in a fast-paced, 24/7/365 private aviation environment. The Dispatcher will share flight planning duties with the flight crew, ensuring safe operations in compliance with federal regulations and company standards.

The role involves reviewing daily operations and communicating concerns to the appropriate teams. Responsibilities include creating and filing flight plans with routing, weight and balance,

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations, with emphasis on Parts 91 and 135
• Knowledge of weather theory, charts, and reports
• Familiarity with ARINC or compatible flight planning software
• Experience with oceanic/international operations is preferred
• Internship or prior work experience with an air carrier, FBO, flight department or airport is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Plan and file flight plans including routings, weight and balance, and aircraft performance
• Plan fuel uplifts to optimize efficiency and meet regulatory requirements
• Evaluate weather conditions and plan efficient routes to minimize delays and risk
• Provide plain-language briefings to flight crew and operations before departure
• Monitor ongoing flights and suggest routing or schedule changes as needed
• Inform company personnel of potential safety concerns
