Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Aircraft Dispatcher certificate.
• Ability to clearly communicate with customers and co-workers.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work shift work.

Responsibilities

• Prepares domestic and international flight releases and files flight plans with ATC units; communicates weather forecasts and NOTAMS to flight crews.
• Determines fuel load for each flight.
• Calculates maximum payload and notifies supervisor of changes.
• Monitors flights in‑progress and debriefs; ensures proper handoff to next shift and communicates delays or abnormal situations.
• Advises on operational problems and deviations; coordinates with System Control, Maintenance Control and Flight Crews.
