Job summary

A leading security solutions provider in Ohio is seeking skilled and licensed technicians for fire alarm, security, and access control systems. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and servicing low-voltage systems for commercial and industrial facilities while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have experience in installations, be able to read technical documents, and possess strong problem-solving skills. This position requires flexible working hours, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial/industrial fire alarm or security installations and service.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and SOW documents.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working at heights; certified for boom or scissor lifts.
• Clean driving record, no DUI/DWI in the last 3 years.
• Able to pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, inspect, and repair fire alarm, security, and access control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and low-voltage wiring, panels, and devices.
• Perform upgrades and retrofits to existing systems.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, and local code requirements.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and team members.
• Follow all company, customer, and OSHA safety standards.
