Job summary

Silco Fire & Security is hiring a skilled alarm installer/technician in Ohio. You will install and program fire alarm systems, mount sensors, run wiring, and ensure customer satisfaction while following safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong problem-solving ability in fast-paced situations.

Responsibilities

• Install and program fire alarm control panels per plans.
• Mount sensors and run cabling, accessing crawlspaces or attics as needed.
• Wire components, following safety standards and customer preferences.
• Show customers how to use the alarm system and ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect and test systems for safety and performance.
• Review manuals and plans to plan wiring layouts.
• Identify and repair malfunctions; order replacement parts as needed.
• Document installation and service visits per SOP.
