Job summary

A leading low voltage contractor is seeking an experienced Fire and Security technician based in Sidney, Ohio. The role entails installing and maintaining fire alarm systems, access control panels, and video surveillance systems. Ideal candidates should have a High School Diploma, a State of Ohio fire alarm license, and at least three years of relevant electronics experience. Must be able to communicate in English and pass background checks. Excellent benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3 years of electronics background.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Install access control panels and systems.
• Maintain, repair, service and install Fire Alarms.
• Coordinate inspections with police and fire departments.

Skills

Computer and programming skills

Fire alarm systems (Notifier & Firelite)

Access control and security systems (S2, Galaxy, NetAxys, Kantech, Ademco, DSC)

Video camera systems (S2, Interlogix, Hikvision, Pelco, Exacq)

Knowledge of design, installation, and testing of the systems

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

State of Ohio fire alarm License
