Walmart in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee predictive and preventative maintenance for our regional stores. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring buildings operate safely, efficiently, and in line with company standards.

The role requires roughly 50% travel within the region, coordinating with Store Managers and Facility Services leadership, working with vendors, and delivering reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.
• Or 5 years’ experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Travel within the regional area (≈50% or more) to support facilities.
• Collaborate with Store Managers and Facility Services Leadership on facility needs.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain reporting and analytics on facility operations.
• Keep contractor licenses up to date to stay in good standing.
• Participate in training and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Obtain permits and schedule inspections as required.
