Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of science degree in engineering is required.
• Possess a registered professional engineering license (PE) as required by the State of Michigan.
• Seven years of professional engineering experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with ITS, signals, or connected/autonomous vehicle programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as statewide ITS & Signal engineering licensed manager.
• Administer, support, and oversee statewide ITS, signals, and connected & autonomous vehicle programs.
• Lead the implementation of the statewide ITS Strategic Plan and coordinate with Regions, Bureaus, Divisions, and ITS Steering Committee.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and personnel for ITS and Signals teams; ensure EEO in hiring and promotions.
