Spec on the Job seeks an experienced E-2 licensed Journeyperson for a fast-tracked 12-week multi-family residential build in Connecticut. The role requires proficiency with metal studs, concrete decks, and commercial-style installations.

Start day one with minimal ramp-up, and expect 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM shifts on site. Responsibilities include routing MC cable/EMT, panel buildouts, and precise termination of circuits and fixtures while complying with NEC and local inspections.

Qualifications

• Active CT E-2 Unlimited Journeyperson license in good standing.
• Experience with metal stud framing and concrete decks.
• Strong adherence to NEC and municipal inspections.
• Available 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Route, support, and secure MC cable and EMT through concrete overheads and metal studs.
• Build out single-phase and three-phase panels, sub-panels, and multi-meter stacks.
• Interpret electrical schematics, architectural details, and MEP drawings for layout.
• Terminate branch circuits, lighting controls, service panels, and fixtures.
• Ensure rough-in and finish work passes NEC and CT municipal inspections.

Seeking an experienced, self-sufficient E-2 Licensed Electrical Journeyperson for a fast-tracked 12-week multi-family residential construction project. The build consists of a new 18-unit, 3-story condominium building utilizing concrete and metal stud construction. Due to the structural profile and commercial-style nature of this build, candidates must have immediate proficiency working within metal stud framing and demanding physical containment systems. There is zero ramp-up time; the selected candidate must deliver field-ready production starting day one.Pay: $45-$50 an hour DOECore Responsibilities• Metal Stud Fitting & Layout: Accurately route, support, and secure MC cable, EMT, and primary feeders through structural concrete overheads and metal stud walls.• Power Distribution & Infrastructure: Build out single-phase and three-phase panels, sub-panels, and multi-meter stacks servicing the 18 separate units.• Blueprint Execution: Independently interpret structural electrical schematics, architectural details, and MEP drawings to execute the layout with minimal oversight.• Device & Finish Trim: Safely terminate branch circuits, lighting controls, service panels, and architectural fixtures in alignment with project deadlines.• Code & Inspection Compliance: Ensure all rough-in and finish work strictly complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) to pass local Connecticut municipal inspections seamlessly.Job Requirements & Qualifications• Licensure: Active Connecticut E-2 Unlimited Electrical Journeyperson license (or E-1 Master license)in good standing.• Structural Experience: Documented experience working on commercial or high-density residential builds utilizing metal studs and concrete decks.• Punctuality & Logistics: Rigid adherence to the 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM shift.
