Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in or around Darien, CT. This is a first shift opportunity with pay up to $47/hour based on experience and skill level.

Qualifications

• Connecticut E1/E2 license is required.
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings.
• Strong safety awareness and reliability.
• Willingness to work first shift and in Darien, CT.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, thread, and bend conduit (EMT, PVC, rigid metal).
• Install conduit systems through walls, ceilings, floors.
• Mount and secure conduit, boxes, and electrical equipment.
• Pull wire and terminate circuits for panels and motors.
• Install and wire interior/exterior lighting, switches, receptacles.
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings; ensure NEC compliance.
• Test electrical systems for continuity and safety.
• Maintain quality workmanship following safety standards.

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Electricians for projects located in or aoround Darien, CT. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $47/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Measure, cut, thread, and bend rigid metal, EMT, and PVC conduit
• Install conduit systems through walls, ceilings, and floors
• Mount and secure conduit, junction boxes, and electrical equipment using brackets, straps, and specialized fasteners
• Pull wire and complete circuit terminations for panels, switchgear, motors, and electrical systems
• Install and wire interior and exterior lighting, emergency and exit lights, switches, and receptacles
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications
• Test electrical systems for continuity, functionality, and safety
• Ensure all work complies with NEC standards and local building codes
• Maintain quality workmanship while adhering to all jobsite safety standards

Requirements:

• Valid Connecticut E1 or E2 Electrical License
• Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
• Proficiency with hand tools, conduit benders, threading machines, and power tools
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Working knowledge of conduit bending mathematics and electrical layouts
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred (online training may be provided if needed)
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in tight or elevated spaces
• Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
