Job summary

IES currently seeks skilled electricians (E1 or E2) for residential multifamily projects in Stamford, CT. The role demands a valid CT license, 2–4 years of wiring experience, and strong NEC knowledge. You will read plans, troubleshoot issues, and ensure code-compliant installations on active job sites.

Candidate must be reliable, able to work independently yet collaborate across teams, and maintain safety at all times. This on-site position offers steady project work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CT E1/E2 license and have 2–4 years of residential wiring experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and electrical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on residential systems.
• Review plans and work orders to support accurate execution.
• Diagnose electrical issues and resolve them promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes.
• Coordinate with team, vendors, and interior departments on project activities.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
• Support project timelines and field operations.
• Mentor less experienced technicians as needed.
