Job summary

AutomatedTechnologies, a sister company of Ellingson Plumbing, Heating, A/C & Electrical, seeks a Licensed Building Automation Electrician to install BAS electrical components in customer facilities. You will coordinate with project managers, customers and trades to complete projects safely, on time, and per NEC code.

The role includes reading blueprints, detailing materials, supervising apprentices on site, and completing required documentation, with travel to multiple job sites including

Qualifications

• Current Minnesota Journeyman or Master Electrician License is required.
• BAS controls installation experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Strong understanding of NEC code.
• Ability to lead small crews and perform independent work.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with computers, tablets, email and construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Install Building Automation System (BAS) electrical materials, wiring and equipment per NEC code.
• Coordinate onsite installation activities with project managers, customers and trades to ensure safety, quality and schedule.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings and specifications; create material lists; communicate needs and updates.
• Oversee apprentices on site and complete project documentation using computers or tablets; travel to jobsites, including overnight travel.
