Job summary

EMCOR Services Mesa Energy is seeking a Building Automation Installer to install, commission, inspect, repair, and program building automation systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in electrical installation and building automation, with knowledge of systems such as Distech, JCI, Siemens, or ALC. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read blueprints are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical installation and building automation systems.
• Knowledge of automation controls systems (Distech, JCI, Siemens, ALC, etc.) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of automation controls, topology, and networking.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Able to attend training sessions to stay current with the latest technology and installation methods.
• Adaptable to apply skills to field applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission building automation systems in commercial/industrial buildings according to specifications.
• Read and interpret control system design documents and mechanical drawings.
• Wire and terminate control devices, sensors, and actuators.
• Install and maintain network infrastructure equipment, including servers, routers, switches, and cabling.
• Install communications cabling, wiring, and direct digital control system controllers and components.
• Install EMT and IMT conduit raceways.
• Understand and apply the National Electric Code.

Job Summary

The Building Automation Installer will be responsible for installing, commissioning, inspecting, repairing, and programming building automation systems in commercial and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical installation, troubleshooting, and programming of building automation systems.

• Installation of multiple HVAC automation systems to specific specifications and drawings.
