Mortenson is seeking a Licensed Electrical Journeyman responsible for skilled maintenance and installation of electrical systems on a prevailing wage project. The base pay is $46.80 per hour, with fringe benefits potentially increasing total compensation to $66.33 per hour.

This role requires adherence to electrical codes, safety standards, and efficient team collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a state license, at least two years of related experience, and the ability to read plans,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• State License required.
• Trade or technical school certification/diploma.
• Apprentice aptitude test.
• Union specific training.
• Project specific/Mortenson training.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to speak and understand English; Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
• Test electrical systems and continuity with meters and scopes.
• Install and maintain motors, transformers, generators, lights and circuits.
• Study plans and orders to determine work requirements and sequence.
