Job summary

The Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design on the firm's projects from basis of design through construction and startup. The Burlington, VT office serves as home base.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Vermont registration or ability to obtain
• Electrical design experience on industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or process-driven facilities
• Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution for industrial and critical facilities, including low- and medium-voltage distribution, motor controls, lighting and lighting control, standby generation, and fire alarm
• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies
• Prepare one-lines, load calculations, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs
• Support construction administration, including submittal and RFI review and site visits
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record
• Mentor junior engineers and designers
