Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions represents a growing, employee-owned engineering firm seeking a Licensed Electrical Engineer to join the Vermont team in Burlington. The role leads electrical design from basis of design through construction and startup, with internal advancement as projects and staff grow.

The candidate will design power distribution for industrial facilities, perform short circuit studies, prepare drawings and specifications, review work as Engineer of Record, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed Electrical Engineer with PE license or eligibility in Vermont.
• Experience in electrical design for industrial/semiconductor facilities is preferred.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction and startup.
• Design power distribution, including low/medium voltage, motor controls, lighting, and standby generation.
• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Prepare one-lines, load calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Review and seal drawings as Engineer of Record; mentor junior engineers and designers.
