Job summary

Our client, a growing, employee-owned engineering firm, seeks an Electrical Engineer to lead design on industrial and process facilities from basis of design through construction. The role is based in the Burlington, VT area and works from the office.

You will design power distribution, perform short circuit and arc flash studies, prepare drawings and specs, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with process, mechanical, and controls engineers. Vermont PE license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Vermont registration or ability to obtain.
• Electrical design experience on industrial/process facilities.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution for industrial and critical facilities.
• Perform short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Prepare one-lines, load calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
