Job summary

Our client is a growing, employee-owned engineering firm that designs electrical, mechanical, process, and control systems for semiconductor fabs, life sciences plants, research labs, and industrial manufacturing facilities. They are hiring a licensed electrical engineer to join their Vermont team, based in the Burlington area.

The Electrical Engineer will lead electrical design on projects from basis of design through construction and startup, taking on increasing responsibility as they grow

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) or able to obtain Vermont registration.
• Electrical design experience for industrial or semiconductor facilities.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E.
• Experience running power system studies with SKM, ETAP or EasyPower.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on projects from basis of design through construction and startup.
• Prepare one-lines, load calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls engineers on integrated facility designs.
• Support construction administration, including submittal review, RFIs, and site visits.
• Review and seal drawings and calculations as Engineer of Record.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
