Job summary

New Season is seeking an LPN in Florida to join our clinic team, working under the supervision of the Medical Director, RN, and Program Director to deliver compassionate patient care.

You will interact directly with patients during challenging times, perform medication administration, maintain medication inventory, and participate in quality initiatives while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Florida.
• Minimum 1 year of direct patient contact; clinical experience helpful.
• Understanding of opiate addiction and medical terminology.
• Must be computer literate with MS Office including Word/Outlook/Excel.
• Basic typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Supply and administer medication per physician's order and record dosage in the medical record.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and maintain accuracy in medication supply.
• Ensure accurate daily accounting of medication in inventory.
• Collect fees and perform daily cash reconciliation when cashier is unavailable.
• Ensure proper disposal of medical waste following protocol.
• Observe patient demeanor prior to dosing and monitor vitals as needed.
• Coordinate with other centers to verify dosages when required.
• Administer required lab tests and collect data for Medical Director review.
• Schedule and screen patients for visits with Medical Director.
• Assist in collecting data for history and physical exams as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient medical documentation.
• Participate in CARF preparation and state audits.
• Greet visitors, answer phones, and supervise patient activities on center premises.
