Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Fergus Falls, MN is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join a patient‑focused team. You will assist dentists chairside, take and develop X-rays, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post‑procedure care in a clean, infection‑controlled environment.

The role requires a Minnesota LDA credential, DANB or state jurisprudence qualification, and current CPR (BLS) certification, plus strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with accredited dental assisting course.
• Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential.
• DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification for specified tasks.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post‑procedure care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment following infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
