Job summary

Apple Tree Dental in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team in a patient-focused environment where your skills and compassion make a real difference.

You will assist dentists with chairside care and preparation of dental materials, take and develop dental X-rays, educate patients on oral hygiene, maintain infection control, and document care in the EHR. An LDA credential and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and completion of an accredited dental assisting course.
• Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential.
• DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification for specified task.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
