Apple Tree Dental in Mounds View, MN is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist dentists, take X-rays, educate patients, and maintain infection controls in a patient-focused environment.

The role requires a Minnesota LDA credential, an accredited dental assisting course, CPR/BLS, and strong English communication to ensure a high standard of care and accurate documentation in the EHR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited dental assisting course.
• Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential.
• DANB certification or equivalent state jurisprudence qualification for specified tasks.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in oral and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparation of dental materials.
• Take and develop dental X-rays as required.
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, following infection control protocols.
• Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Work closely with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience.
