This range is provided by Liberty Mutual Insurance. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $41,000.00/yr - $73,000.00/yr

Pay Philosophy

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. The full salary range reflects the competitive market and opportunities for growth within the role. Some roles may include commission and/or bonuses based on performance.

Role Description

Within our Customer Response Center, the Remote Customer Service Representative provides timely, accurate, and responsive service to policyholders and agents for Personal Lines products. Responsibilities include solving policy-related problems, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring high customer satisfaction, growth, and retention.

Requirements
  • Active P&C Producers insurance license required, with at least 2 years of active use.
  • This position is fully remote.
  • Preferred locations include Columbus, OH; Albany, NY; Marlton, NJ; Lake Mary, FL; Indianapolis, IN; Chandler, AZ.
  • Start date: July 14, 2025.
Training & Work Schedule

Paid training is Monday – Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm EST. Post-training shifts start between 10:30am and 11:30am EST, with a weekend rotation. One weekend day is required, with a mid-week day off. Equipment is provided; reliable internet connection is necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly to inbound calls regarding policies.
  • Build rapport and listen to customer requests.
  • Retain policyholders and resolve issues using de-escalation tactics.
  • Process transactions accurately and interpret policies.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend coverage enhancements.
  • Understand billing systems and communicate impacts on premiums.
  • Manage time effectively to meet service levels.
  • Utilize reference materials and maintain system knowledge.
  • Complete licensing and ongoing education requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree and 1+ year insurance experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • P&C Producers insurance license required.
