Job summary

City of Kirkland is seeking an On-Call Crisis Responder II for the Regional Crisis Response Agency. This seasonal, on-call role supports crisis intervention, resource referral, and follow-up in diverse community settings.

Responsibilities include 911 response, biopsychosocial assessments, and collaboration with health and social service programs. Licensure as a social worker or related clinical license is required, with 24/7 on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, human development or related field.
• 1 year of paid experience in a health care setting, including public health or behavioral health.
• Must be a licensed independent social worker, or licensed mental health professional as defined by Washington state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 911 calls for service as part of a team or independently.
• Document all encounters in accordance with policy and professional standards.
• Complete mandatory trainings in clinical competency, culturally relevant practices and customer service.
• Work hours include various shifts to provide 24/7 coverage for community service calls and emergencies.
