Comprehensive Healthcare in Yakima is seeking a Crisis Outreach Professional to join the 24-hour Acute Care team. You will respond to crisis calls, assess safety, and arrange appropriate hospital placements or outpatient treatment.

You will coordinate with emergency responders, law enforcement, and treatment teams to deliver timely, least restrictive care. The role offers an on-call/per-diem schedule with varied days, opportunities to work independently or collaboratively, and a focus on

Formación

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
• Two years of prior experience providing behavioral health treatment is preferred.
• Must be eligible for designation as Designated Crisis Responder.
• Must be eligible for a credential with the Dept of Health that designates Mental Health Professional status.
• Must have valid driver's license, vehicle liability insurance, and a safe driving record.

Responsabilidades

• receiving calls for crisis services from individuals, law enforcement, medical facilities, & service providers and responding in the community to assess individuals for safety and gather information
• determining the least restrictive environment for crisis resolution and stabilization for the client
• arranging client placements for voluntary and involuntary hospitalization or detox services, when necessary
• communicating with Comprehensive treatment teams about clients who have had crisis contact and participating in safety planning
• completing extensive clinical & legal documentation for each call taken during the workday
