Spero Health is seeking a Counselor to join our team in Murray, KY. The role involves conducting initial assessments, providing evidence-based counseling, and educating patients within an integrated care setting focused on addiction treatment.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in a human services field, have at least 1 year of relevant experience, and possess a applicable license such as CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, or LCADC. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in human services or related field.
• Minimum 1 year full-time employment/internship in a human-services setting OR Master's Degree in behavioral science.
• Licensed counselor: CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LCADC-A, LCADC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment and ongoing patient care.
• Provide counseling to patients through evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient education.
• Ensure accountability of treatment program and patient compliance through collaboration.
• Assist patients in creating realistic goals toward achieving freedom from addiction.
• Act as a clinic resource and assure compliance with HIPAA and CFR42 Part 2 regulations.
