AppleGateRecovery in Louisiana seeks a Full-Time Licensed Counselor to provide individual and group counseling in an outpatient setting. The role involves initial assessments, treatment planning, and coordinating services across locations to ensure continuity of care.

The position requires active Louisiana licensure and prior experience with chemically dependent individuals, with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach and collaboration with a counseling team. Benefits are included.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regular intervals per patient need and state regulations; coordinate services across treatment.
• Conduct initial assessment and evaluation to determine eligibility.
• Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Establish individualized treatment plans and review as indicated.
• Respond to patient grievances and complaints.
• Develop aftercare and discharge plans.
• Provide support to 4 other locations/clinics.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service at regularly scheduled intervals based on patientneed, bestpracticesand state regulations; coordinate all services throughout treatment.

• Ability to collaborate with compassionate and knowledgeable counseling team members
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
