Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking a Licensed Colorist to join our Hair Color Bar team in a full- or part-time capacity. You will provide consultations, perform color services, and assist guests in selecting products for optimal results. The role emphasizes guest care, teamwork, and meeting daily service goals.

Pay includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips, with an hourly range of $39.50–$41.50 depending on performance and tenure. Availability during peak times is required to serve guests effectively.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• Strong communication and people skills for a fast-paced retail/salon environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems (POS).
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to provide a guest experience aligned with company values.
• Provide all services on the menu, including shampoo, styling, and chemical services to high quality standards and guest satisfaction.
• Assess guest needs to select products and color while staying on time for bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and KPIs, including retail and services.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security in the Hair Color Bar.
• Follow Madison Reed systems, policies, processes and procedures.
• Drive revenue through increased service tickets and memberships.
• Grow within Madison Reed by participating in ongoing training and product knowledge.
• Support training and development of Assistant Colorists through coaching and care.
