Madison Reed is seeking a Licensed Colorist to join our Hair Color Bar, delivering expert color consultations, services, and guest care. You will help guests select the best color, perform services to high standards, and support sales through product and service recommendations.

The role may be full or part time depending on business needs, with peak-time availability required to serve guests effectively. Compensation includes base hourly pay, commissions, and tips.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where you apply (required).
• 1+ year of experience as a colorist behind the chair in a salon.
• Effective communication and strong problem-solving and people skills.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver a guest experience aligned with company values.
• Provide consultations and all services listed in the menu to 100% guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests in product and color selections, and stay on schedule for bookings.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals (retail, services, memberships).
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security at the Hair Color Bar.
• Drive revenue through additional services, memberships, subscriptions, and home care sales.
• Grow with ongoing training and stay up-to-date on Madison Reed products.
