Job summary

Sycamores is seeking clinicians to join the LA County Mobile Crisis Outreach Team, partnering with the 988 crisis hotline to provide in-field crisis response and care coordination.

The MCOT Clinician responds with a van, conducts safety planning, assesses danger, and coordinates transports and referrals in California with flexible shifts.

Starting pay range is $69,862.50–$75,102.19 per year for a 30-hour week, with adjustments based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Masters’ degree in a related field is required.
• CA licensure in LCSW/LMFT/LPCC or Psy.D./Ph.D is required.
• Must maintain relevant licensure as a condition of employment.
• DMH experience preferred.
• Valid California driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person crisis intervention and stabilization.
• Assess danger to self or others and conduct safety planning.
• Coordinate with hospitals, ambulances, housing, and transport referrals.
• Collaborate with the 988-call center and MCOT peers.
• Work flexible shifts across designated CA regions (e.g., Antelope Valley, San Fernando, San Gabriel).
