Job summary

CBT Counseling of North Carolina, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist in Asheville, NC. You will treat a broad range of mental health issues using CBT/DBT and other evidence-based methods, while maintaining EMR documentation and contributing to growth initiatives.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field and an active NC license (LCSW/LCMHC/LMFT).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted license (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT) in North Carolina.
• 2+ years of professional behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for common mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide treatment using CBT, DBT, and other evidence-based methods.
• Track treatment response and monitor clinical symptoms and side effects.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and compliant documentation.
• Support patient growth by contributing to online directory profiles and marketing.
