Job summary

Life Changes Group in Newton Center, MA, seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist to treat a diverse patient population under Optum Behavioral Care. You will deliver evidence-based therapies, document care in EMR, and contribute to marketing profiles for patient growth.

Requires a Master’s degree in psychology or social work and a valid MA license (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT). Prefer 2+ years of post-master’s experience in behavioral health and proficiency with healthcare IT systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field.
• Active, unrestricted license in MA (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT).
• 2+ years of clinical behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Provide individual or group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Track treatment response and monitor symptoms.
• Maintain accurate EMR and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Support online directory profiles and marketing efforts for patient growth.
