Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking a Clinical Supervisor (Licensed Clinician) to oversee clinical services within Behavioral Health, SUD, and co‑occurring programs. The role provides supervision for staff pursuing licensure and maintains compliance with licensing and funder standards.

Under Clinical Director supervision, you will ensure high‑quality documentation, crisis consultation, and effective service delivery. Strong leadership and licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active California license required: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or other qualifying behavioral health license.
• Submit proof of supervision training or CPD in supervision for licensure renewal.
• SUD certification or demonstrated SUD treatment experience preferred.
• Minimum two years post-licensure clinical experience; supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group clinical supervision for SUD counselors, clinical staff, and interns.
• Review treatment planning, documentation, and client engagement for quality and compliance.
• Facilitate case conferences, caseload reviews, and staff development activities.
• Provide crisis consultation, risk assessment, and escalation support as needed.
• Support program operations, documentation workflows, and adherence to regulatory standards.
