Job summary

The Salvation Army Divisional Headquarters in Southern California is seeking a Divisional Behavioral Health Director to provide clinical oversight for behavioral health programs, lead trainings, and support Medi-Cal/CalAIM billing and program development. You will guide divisional staff and collaborate with leadership to ensure high-quality care.

You will supervise clinical staff and interns, oversee outcome measurement, and drive state-wide initiatives with a focus on person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work or related field.
• Active LMFT, LCSW, or licensed clinical psychologist credential.
• Minimum two years post-licensure experience to supervise at highest level.
• At least five years leadership experience in behavioral health.
• Experience with Medi-Cal/CalAIM/Medicaid billing and compliance.
• Proven ability to supervise clinical staff and interns.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight and consultation for divisional programs offering behavioral health services.
• Lead and coordinate divisional trainings on best practices and compliance.
• Ensure regulatory and funder compliance, including Medi-Cal/CalAIM/Medicaid billing.
• Monitor clinical outcomes and report on program effectiveness.
• Offer clinical supervision for specialty programs and interns.
• Support program development, strategic planning, and staff training needs.
