Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern CA Division is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee behavioral health services at the Bell Shelter. You will supervise staff, review assessments, and ensure high-quality, compliant care under the Clinical Director’s guidance.

Responsibilities include crisis consultation, care coordination, and program leadership to maintain ethical, trauma-informed, person-centered services across SUD and co-occurring programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Active California license: LCSW/LMFT/LPCC/Clinical Psychologist or equivalent.
• Must meet qualifications to supervise licensure under CA regulations and funder requirements.
• 15-hour supervision course or 6 hours CPD in supervision for renewal.
• SUD certification or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group clinical supervision for counselors, interns, and staff per standards and funder requirements.
• Oversee crisis consultation, safety planning, and appropriate level-of-care decisions.
• Review assessments, treatment plans, documentation for medical necessity and cultural responsiveness.
• Lead staff development, case conferences, and quality assurance activities.
• Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal, DMC-ODS, SAPC, licensing, and audits.
