Mane Up Memphis™ is a community development health hub focused on strengthening community wellness through behavioral health, financial education, and preventive education. Through its programs and services, Mane Up Memphis™ supports youth, young adults, and families in developing stronger emotional, behavioral, and financial foundations.

Mane Mindscape™ provides outpatient behavioral health services through individual and family therapy delivered in person and through telehealth. Services are trauma-informed, participant-centered, and designed to support individuals who can be appropriately served within an outpatient level of care. When a participant requires care beyond the organization’s scope, Mane Up Memphis™ coordinates appropriate connections to crisis-responsive and higher-level care.

Role Description

The Part-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides direct outpatient behavioral health services through Mane Mindscape™. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is responsible for conducting clinical assessments, diagnosing behavioral health conditions, developing treatment plans, providing individual and family therapy, monitoring treatment progress, and maintaining complete clinical documentation.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) must also be capable of assessing suicide and other safety risks, identifying psychiatric and medication-management needs, determining when a participant requires a higher level of care, and initiating appropriate crisis-response procedures within their professional and legal scope. This may include coordinating care with crisis-response providers, psychiatric providers, emergency departments, or hospitals when clinically necessary.

This is a part-time W-2 position with availability on Monday Tuesday, and Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Services may be provided in person or through telehealth based on scheduling and participant needs. Compensation is $30.00 per hour.

• Demonstrated experience conducting behavioral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapy.
• Ability to assess suicide risk, self-harm concerns, acute behavioral health symptoms, and other clinical safety concerns.
• Ability to determine when outpatient treatment is appropriate and when escalation to crisis-responsive or higher-level care is clinically indicated.
• Experience providing individual and family therapy in outpatient, community-based, or comparable behavioral health settings.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and evidence-informed behavioral health practices.
• Strong clinical documentation, communication, professional judgment, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain an assigned caseload and complete required documentation within established timelines.
• Ability to provide both in-person and telehealth services.
• Ability to collaborate with clinical leadership and appropriate external providers while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Commitment to ethical, participant-centered, culturally responsive, and inclusive behavioral health care.
