Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to perform VA Compensation & Pension evaluations on a 1099 contract basis. The role is non-treatment, focused on objective assessment and reporting, with evaluations conducted in person or via telehealth.

Ideal candidates have an APA-accredited PhD, active psychologist license, and strong report-writing skills. We offer flexible scheduling and both telehealth and in-person opportunities, with compensation per evaluation

Qualifications

• PhD from an APA-accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
• Active psychologist license.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA Compensation & Pension evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform objective, structured psychological assessments per VA guidelines.
• Utilize DBQs and standardized assessment tools.
• Gather history via focused interviews and document findings clearly.
• Submit reports within required timeframes.
