Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PHD/PsyD) to perform VA Compensation & Pension evaluations for Veterans. This non-treatment, non-therapeutic contract role involves structured psychological assessments and reporting, with evaluations conducted in person or via telehealth depending on assignment needs.

The position is a 1099 Independent Contractor, offering per-evaluation compensation and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• PhD from an APA-accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
• Active Psychologist license.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structured psychological evaluations for Veterans based on VA guidelines.
• Utilize Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized assessment tools.
• Gather relevant history through focused, objective interviews.
• Document findings clearly and concisely in VA‑required formats.
• Provide factual, unbiased assessments without influencing outcomes.
• Complete and submit reports within required timeframes.
