Job summary

Empower Mental Health in the United States is seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) to perform VA Compensation & Pension evaluations. This is a non-treatment, evaluation-only 1099 contract with both telehealth and in-person options.

You will conduct structured assessments, adhere to VA guidelines, and produce objective reports. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, objective, and capable of independent work with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• PhD from an APA-accredited program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
• Active Psychologist license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation & Assessment: Conduct structured psychological evaluations for Veterans using VA guidelines.
• Utilize DBQs and standardized tools; gather history via focused interviews.
• Document findings clearly in VA formats; provide unbiased assessments.
• Submit reports within required timeframes; maintain professional boundaries.
• Non-treatment role: no diagnosis, therapy, or medication management.
