Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (A) for our Elizabeth City, NC clinic. This full-time, on-site role offers growth in a mission-driven nonprofit focused on disability, mental health, and substance use services.

You’ll screen, treat, and support clients, collaborating with clinical teams to ensure quality care. We value compassion, professional development, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• LCAS (A) licensure is required.
• Experience in Substance Use services preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment, and treatment planning.
• Provide IOP coverage and therapeutic services to adults with substance use needs.
• Facilitate group therapy.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and referral sources.
• Support clients through aftercare planning and community referrals.
• Ensure documentation, support crises, and promote a safe therapeutic environment under supervision.

Pay: $49,000 and up, based on experience

What You’ll Do

• Provide screening, assessment, treatment planning
• Provide IOP coverage, and therapeutic services to adults with substance use needs
• Facilitate group therapy

• Ensures accurate documentation, supports crisis intervention, and promotes a safe, therapeutic environment. Services are provided under clinical supervision
