Job summary

The Arbour, Inc. in Worcester, MA is seeking a Licensed Clinician for our Outpatient program serving children and adolescents. Positions available Per Diem, Part Time, and Full Time with flexible scheduling and a ramp-up period to build your caseload.

Responsibilities include individual, family, and group therapy, collaboration with medical and community partners, and self-management of your schedule. MA licensure and internship credits required; CANS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or closely related Mental Health field from an accredited college or university
• LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT required (Massachusetts)
• Experience and comfortability working with child and adolescent clients
• Need to have completed an Internship during Masters Program to obtain 45 credits
• CANS Certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed)
• Nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills
• Familiarity with support groups
• Ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight
• Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds
• Excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping
• Candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation
• Candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group therapy sessions
• Support clients through collaboration with other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources
• Individuals are responsible for managing their own schedule
